Subject Description | This subject is a continuation of 922-091 Swinburne-HAK209:Intermediate Korean 2A and is designed to provide students with a sound foundation in the language with particular emphasis on further expanding the range of oral and aural Korean language skills. It offers instruction in language patterns, grammar, reading and writing while expanding students' reading and writing skills through the reading of texts relating to contemporary Korean society. An additional 100 Chinese characters will be taught. A wide range of audio-visual materials will be used, including language slides, cassette tapes, and video cassettes. |
Assessment | Two 2-hour written examinations, two 5-minute oral examinations, two 10-minute listening examinations, and class participation. |
