Subject Description | The objective of this subject is to extend the participant's ability to:
The content includes: Sources of irrigation water, plant water requirements, irrigation methods, operation and performance principles of surface, subsurface, microspray drip and sprinkler systems, monitoring and control systems, fluid properties, pipe types, sizes and pipe selection, drainage systems and layout, hydraulics, principles of irrigation and drainage system design. Plane surveying, levelling, setting out irrigation systems. |
Assessment | Assignments, two examinations of 60 and 90 minutes (60%), assignment of 300 words 40%. |
