The content includes: This subject is designed so that students can work in their own time on a range of selected tasks outside a classroom setting. Students will be required to research the geological and geomorphological histories of a number of areas. They will need to investigate the major events that have assisted in the development of the geological time scale at a global level and appreciate the methods under which this information was gathered. |
Assessment | As the subject involves primarily independent study, students are expected to complete 4 extended research tasks, each worth 25% of the total mark. |
