Subject Description | The objective of this subject is to enable the student to:
The content includes: Landscape revegetation, benefits and use of trees on farms, use of farm plans, design options, economic returns from trees on farms, land preparation, species selection, tree establishment, tree management, pruning and thinning, weed and pest control, harvesting, products, markets and marketing, organisations and networks. |
Assessment | Assignment of 3000 words (50%); Fieldwork report of 2000 words (35%), Workshop presentation (15%). |
