Subject Description | The practice of building rehabilitation, recycling, and its technical considerations. Methods of investigative techniques, repair and protection of concrete structures strengthening existing structures. The development, form and structural behaviour of spatial structures including space frames, membrane and cable supported structures with emphasis on buildability and construction aspects. The building facade, architectural, performance and construction detailing. The behaviour, construction and elementary design concepts of long span timber structures. Steel fibre reinforced concrete slab technology. High strength high performance concrete. Construction of superflat concrete floor slabs. |
Assessment | One 2-hour examination. Written and drawn assignments equivalent to not more than 5000 words. |
