Subject Description | A hands-on workshop exploring the techniques and processes leading to the creation and siting of a sculptural work of art. The various phases of the creative process will be documented in drawings through to the execution of the work in maquette form. There will be a charge made for materials used in this subject. On completion of the program students should have a basic knowledge of the techniques and processes involved in the creation and siting of sculptural works of art and have developed an understanding of the function of art in the built environment. |
Assessment | Sculptural project work and reports up to the equivalent of 4000 words. |
