Subject Description | This subject develops drawing skills appropriate to the designing and making of architecture. These skills are taught through a series of freehand and constructed drawing assignments held both outdoors and in the studio, and are developed concurrently with the graphic skills required in Construction Technology 1A and Architectural Design and Practice 1. Emphasis is given to development of perspective and rendering skills, and to the use of colour in architectural and spatial representation. |
Assessment | Assessment will be based on a review of a portfolio of assignments set during the semester. (Projects, studio tests, exercises and tutorial presentations, to the equivalent of 7500 words.) Assignments may relate to work undertaken in other subjects. |
