Subject Description | Broad overview of the Australian Construction Industry. The parties involved in the construction process including owner, contractor, consultant, regulator and site staff. Introduction to project procurement. Mathematical concepts of time management. Manual calculation of small critical path networks. The tendering and bidding process. |
Assessment | One 2-hour examination (50%). Tutorial exercises and assignments to the equivalent of not more than 2000 words (50%). |
