Two 1-hour lectures and up to three hours of tutorials and seminars per week

Subject Description

Concept of real property and improvements to and on land. Property and the economy. A broad overview of property markets and sub-markets. Introduction to investment and yield. Basic financial mathematics. An introduction to the principles of valuation and appraisal. Property planning, location theory. Property development.

Assessment

One 3-hour examination (50%). Assignments totalling no more than 5000 words (50%).
