Subject Description

By the end of this subject students should:

  • have an appreciation of the nature and requirements of independent research in a research-laboratory environment.

The subject involves an original investigation of an approved topic in zoology through observation and/or experimentation and/or a critical review of published works.

Assessment

An end-of-semester written report of up to 3000 words.
