Subject Description

Upon completion of 610-315 students should have developed skills in conducting instrument-based laboratory experiments in kinetics, surface chemistry, electrochemistry, photochemistry, and polymer and surfactant chemistry. The range of practical exercises will also develop observational skills and scientific report writing skills.

The course will consist of a number of experiments involving the physical and instrumental investigations of important chemical systems and phenomena.

Assessment

Practical work will be continuously assessed in the form of short reports.
