Subject Description | A study of concepts and practice in second language teaching and learning, with the emphasis on developing teachers as reflective practitioners, capable of fostering in their students communicative competence in a new language, and making the experience of language learning an educational one. Students will be introduced to texts and materials commonly used in Primary schools, and will be taught a range of techniques for employing them. |
Assessment | Assigments totalling 4000 words or equivalent. |
Prescribed Texts | Selected research papers from current journals. Texts applicable to the focus of the project and the investigative methods used.
