Subject Description | A critical analysis of the eclectic nature of human resource development and its potential contribution to strategic, individual and organisational performance; appraisal of the roles of education, development and training within organisations; analyses of the inter-relationships and interdependencies between the contributions of strategic leadership, and management of learning within workplaces. |
Assessment | A two-hour examination on critical concepts explored in this unit of study (50%), and a critical essay of 2000 words or an equivalent individually negotiated project (50%). |
