Subject Description | Analysis of assumptions and ideologies underpinning predominant program design models, frameworks and methodologies, and perceptions of stakeholders; contemporary issues in program design; accommodating needs of particular client groups; curriculum implementation theories and implications for staff development; selection and use of evaluation approaches in relation to program improvement and implementation. |
Assessment | A two-hour examination on critical concepts explored in this unit of study (50%), and a report analysing an existing program design and proposing a revised design in terms of selected models and frameworks studied (2000 words, 50%). |
