Subject Description | Conceptual analysis and analytical thinking. The concept of a person, of personhood and the implications of such concepts for teaching, training and learning practice. Personal and organisational values, conflict, power, whistleblowing, loyalty, reason, emotion and intuition. Situated learning and distribute cognition. Ethics, individual and organisational values. The concept of responsibility. Negotiated topics. |
Assessment | A two-hour examination on critical concepts explored in this unit of study (50%), and a critical essay of 2000 words (50%). |
