Subject Description | This subject provides a rigorous introduction to non-cooperative game theory and the economics of asymmetric information. The equilibrium concepts covered include dominant strategy, Nash, subgame perfect, Bayes-Nash and perfect Bayes equilibrium. Tools of experimental economics are used to illustrate some concepts. |
Assessment | A 2-hour examination (60%) and class assignments totalling approximately 4000 words (40%). |
