Subject Description

This subject consists of a 70-day practicum working as a supervised student social worker in an organisation where social work is practised. By the end of 196-017 Supervised Professional Practice 2A, it is expected that students will be able to practise social work with the degree of autonomy, knowledge and competence expected of a new graduate.

Assessment

Assessment by Examination Board based on two reports written by a field teacher in consultation with the student, and a report written by the supervised practice supervisor.
