Subject Description | This subject involves a selection of advanced topics of current interest in the philosophy of science. The content of this subject may vary from year to year. Specific topics dealt with may include such issues as the following: the nature and justification of scientific methodology and scientific reasoning; philosophical and psychological aspects of scientific evidence and explanation; causation and laws of nature in the natural sciences. |
