Subject Description | This subject examines the nature and causes of the changes brought about in Russian society by the revolutions of 1917 and their aftermath. On completion of this subject students should have an improved understanding of the nature of pre-revolutionary Russian society, the causes and consequences of the Russian Revolution, and the nature of early post-revolutionary Soviet society. |
