Subject Description | In this subject students will be introduced to important cultural, literary and linguistic aspects of the German language. Students will be given the opportunity to develop topics of interest within these general areas and will be introduced to a variety of specialist terminology within these general areas. Students should achieve the level of competency required for admittance into 126-017 Advanced German 2 (Core) A if proceeding to German at Second Year, or admittance into 126-018 Advanced German 3 (Core) A or 126-006 German 3 Intermediate (Core) if proceeding to German at Third Year. |
Assessment | Two 1-hour written exams or written work totalling 2000 words. |
