Subject Description

This subject is compulsory for all students taking 110-126 Japanese Honours Thesis. Students should receive a broad grounding in research methods and materials for Japanese studies, particularly in the humanities and social sciences. Students will prepare a research design and annotated bibliography as a preparation for undertaking Honours level studies.

Assessment

Written work totalling 5000 words.
