Subject Description | This subject will familiarise students with Japanese e-mail and websites written in Japanese. It will introduce basic skills required in using e-mail and websites. Students will develop an electronic interactive relationship with students at the partner university in Japan, using virtual reality as a bridge to contextually realistic advanced Japanese language competence. Students should develop critical analytical skills in Japanese for assessing and using websites. |
Assessment | Written work totalling 3000 words for 2nd and 3rd year, 4000 words for 4th year, and a 20-minute oral/aural examination. 2nd and 3rd year students are required to attend a minimum of 70% of all classes in order to be eligible to submit the final essay. |
