Subject Description

This subject involves the theory and practice of Russian phonology and morphology. By the end of the subject, students should be able to: demonstrate a firm understanding of the relevant areas of the Russian language; describe particular sections of the system in appropriate linguistic terms; relate the Russian system to other languages that they have studied.

Assessment

Written work totalling 2000 words, and two 1-hour tests.
