Subject Description

This subject is designed to build upon a year's study of the grammar of Biblical Hebrew and introduce students to a range of texts in the Hebrew Bible from simple prose to poetry. More complex points of grammar will be discussed as they arise in the texts read.

Assessment

Written work which may comprise weekly exercises and vocabulary tests and two 2-hour examinations.
