Subject Description | In this subject, students' oral and literacy skills in Greek are consolidated and extended through exercises in understanding a variety of authentic spoken and written materials, and through practice at speaking and writing with due attention to grammatical accuracy and appropriate usage. The materials used also serve as an introduction to contemporary Greek society and culture. Linguistic skills will also be extended through projects developed, and reported on, in class and involving interaction with the local Greek community. |
Assessment | Regular assignments of up to 2000 words (40%); one 1-hour and one 2-hour written test (30%); one oral-aural test (20%); and two oral class-presentations (10%). |
