Subject Description

This subject is a continuation of AK 111 Advanced Written Korean 1B and AK 112 Advanced Spoken Korean 1B and is designed to extend students' range of language patterns, grammar and writing covered in the first stage of the advanced stream and provide further training in oral and aural Korean language skills. Chinese characters will continue to be taught and a wide range of audio-visual materials will be used.

Assessment

Two 2-hour examinations, and two 5-minute oral examinations, and a 10-minute oral presentation, and class participation. To be eligible for assessment students must pass 70% of weekly tests, attend 70% of classes and hand-in 70% of homework.
