Subject Description

This subject looks at the 2000-year span of Korean history and in particular at the Choson Period (1392-1910). It reflects on Choson society via a number of topics - history, religion, society and family organisation, law and the arts.

Assessment

Two 500-word assignments, and a 1500-word essay, class participation, and a 2-hour examination.
