Subject Description

This subject offers students an instruction in language patterns, grammar, reading, writing, aural comprehension and conversation. A wide range of audio-visual materials will be used.

Assessment

Two 2-hour examinations, and two 5-minute oral examinations, and class participation. To be eligible for assessment students must pass 70% of weekly tests, attend 70% of classes and hand-in 70% of homework.
