Subject Description | The subject focuses on understanding the registers and varieties of spoken Vietnamese that students are likely to encounter. Students are also introduced to technical, abstract and specialised written material in Vietnamese literature which developed in Vietnam and in the Diaspora from 1986 to 1996. |
Assessment | Progressive oral and written exercises, and an essay of 2000 words, and a 15-minute class presentation, and a 3-hour written examination. Students must attend at least 70% of classes to be eligible for assessment. |
