Subject Description | This subject focuses on the history and characteristics of Vietnamese linguistics with particular attention being paid to the styles of written Vietnamese. The literature and social changes during the period of French domination from 1862 to 1945 are also studied. |
Assessment | An assignment of 2000 words, and a book review of 1500 words, and a 15-minute oral presentation, and a 3-hour examination. Students must attend at least 70% of classes to be eligible for assessment. |
