Subject Description

In this subject, students' oral and literacy skills in Greek are consolidated and extended through exercises in understanding a variety of authentic spoken and written materials, and through practice at speaking and writing with due attention to grammatical accuracy and appropriate usage. The materials used also serve as an introduction to contemporary Greek society and culture.

Assessment

Regular assignments totalling 1500 words, an oral-aural test, and a 2-hour written test, and class participation.
