Subject Description | Authors from the 15th century to the present are studied. Students read a short novel and excerpts from medieval and modern Hindi poets. Hindi is spoken where possible in class discussions. |
Assessment | An essay of 1000 words, and ten short weekly essays of 150 words each, and a 1-hour class presentation in Hindi, and a 2-hour examination. |
