Subject Description

This subject provides a thorough review of basic grammar and vocabulary in written and spoken Hindi. Weekly grammar and translation exercises are used to consolidate the skills acquired at first-year level.

Assessment

Ten weekly written assignments, 3 oral class presentations of 20-minutes and one 2-hour examination.
