Subject Description | This subject studies the analysis and description of rural and urban varieties of modern peninsular and Latin American Spanish and addresses the question of varieties of Spanish in the migrant community in Australia. Discussion centres on a range of audio and video recorded materials and the student will conduct a brief research project involving data collection in the community. |
Assessment | Three practical exercises of 400 words each, a 2000-word investigative project and a 1-hour exam. |
