Subject Description | Students will develop scholarly skill in the methods of iconographical analysis and classification, and a familiarisation with the principal scholarship in this field. Areas covered include principles and methods of classification of musical content in visual representations; analysis of art works for musicological purposes. |
Assessment | Seminar papers (50%); end-of-semester project (50%). |
