Subject Description

This subject will provide students with a fundamental understanding of housing from social, political and economic perspectives. The implications of demographic, social and governmental pressures on housing provision and markets in Australia. Affordability and needs, housing and the labour market, community and neighbourhood, housing in the economy, transportation and housing provision, and land use issues.

Assessment

One take home exam (50%). Assignments to the equivalent of 2500 words (50%).
