Subject Description | Aspects of the following topics will be considered: conceptual theories; user characteristics; user modelling; types of human-computer dialogues - menu driven dialogues, Graphical User Interfaces (GUIS); user-centred design; development environments; usability measurements and testing; other issues in HCI. At the completion of this subject, students should:

Assessment | A 3-hour end-of-semester written examination; individual and group project work. Weighting of the assessment components will be announced at the commencement of the course. |
