Subject Description | Survey of major programming paradigms, including object-oriented programming techniques. Discussion of the software development life-cycle and the tools available to facilitate software development. At the completion of this subject, students should:

Assessment | End-of-semester written examination of 2-hours (70%); group projects taking approximately 40 hours per team member (30%). Successful completion of this subject requires a pass in the exam and the practical portion of the assessment. |
