Subject Description | Upon completion of 610-245 students should have developed: skills to synthesize simple inorganic molecules; an understanding of the basic analytical and spectroscopic methods; skills to interpret and record observed chemistry. The course will consist of a number of experiments involving the synthesis and/or chemical and/or instrumental investigations of important classes of main group and transition metal coordination and organometallic compounds. |
Assessment | Practical work will be continuously assessed in the form of short reports. |
