Subject Description | Upon completion of 610-225, the student should develop: skills to synthesize simple organic compounds; qualitative laboratory manipulative skills; skills to record and interpret chemical observations. The course will consist of a number of experiments involving the synthesis and/or chemical and/or instrumental investigations of important classes of organic compounds. |
Assessment | Practical work will be continuously assessed in the form of short reports. |
