Subject Description | This subject builds on the knowledge and skills taught in Research Methods 1. Students will increase their understanding of, and facility with, the design and analysis techniques introduced in Research Methods 1, as well as covering issues such as ethics in research, reliability and validity of measurement, and more advanced analysis techniques. Theoretical and practical applications of specific research skills such as literature searching, the literature review, scientific writing styles, the research proposal and single-case research designs will also be presented. |
Assessment | Examination (60%) and research project proposal (40%). |
