Subject Description | The objective of this subject is to develop skills for preparing technical documents for professional presentations. Communication and display techniques in technical reports. Graphic techniques and the use of photography and video. Preparation of reports for tribunals and Government committees. Meeting and interview skills. Presentation of reports such as contract proposals, environmental impact statements, appeals tribunal submission. |
Assessment | Two essays of not more than 1000 words or equivalent assignments, 1 seminar (1000 words) and tutorial work (not more than 20 pages). The relative weighting of the assessment components will be published at the commencement of the subject |
