Subject Description | The subject will cover development economics. The topics covered may include economic growth theory including models in which growth is endogenous, exchange rate regimes and optimal currency areas in the developing world, trade and development, financial markets, capital mobility and public solvency, income distribution and human capital. |
Assessment | A 3 hour examination (80%) and class assignments totalling approximately 3000 words (20%). |
