Subject Description

This subject consists of a 70-day practicum working as a supervised student social worker in an organisation where social work is practised. By the end of Supervised Professional Practice 2, it is expected that students will be able to practise social work with the degree of autonomy, knowledge and competence expected of a new graduate.

Assessment

Assessment by Examination Board based on two reports written by field teacher in consultation with the student, and a report written by the supervised practice supervisor.
