Subject Description | This subject offers an examination of the relationship between particular ethnic and indigenous communities, and the practices and institutions of the criminal justice system. It explores different theoretical perspectives on the processes of victimisation and criminalisation as these affect specific groups. It examines specific issues such as racism, differential policing, access to justice and law reform. |
Assessment | An essay of 1500 words, and an essay of 3500 words. |
