Subject Description | An investigation of the phonological, grammatical and semantic features of Australian Aboriginal languages through the study of a particular language against the background of research on Australian languages generally. Languages studied in previous years have included Kayardild (Qld), Mayali (N.T.), Yawurru and Nyulnyul (both W.A.). |
Assessment | At Third year: Three assignments to a total of 1,500 words and a 2,500 word research paper. At Fourth year: Three assignments to a total of 2,500 words and a 2,500 word paper. |
