Subject Description | A thesis supervised through the Sociology Program of 12,000 words on an approved topic. The thesis will demonstrate a coherent research strategy, and will address contemporary sociological theory. The thesis involves a literature review and construction of a research question, the definition of a research strategy, an engagement with appropriate data demonstrating appropriate research methods (from analysis of existing data sets to original data gathering), and the construction of clear conclusions. |
