Subject Description

A departmentally supervised thesis on a topic to be approved by the Head of Department or the department's Honours Adviser. After completion of the subject students should have gained experience in the production of a sustained piece of philosophical writing and made a contribution towards the solution of the selected question.

Assessment

A thesis of 10,000 words to be submitted in typewritten form by the first Monday of the mid-year examination period in the year in which it is to be completed.
