Subject Description | Major themes in the philosophy of religion, such as classical arguments for and against the existence of God. Students will develop an understanding of the issues raised in the subject, and the ability to argue for relevant conclusions in an alert and well-informed way. Issues discussed may include cosmological arguments, design arguments and the problem of evil. |
Assessment | A 2-hour examination, and an assignment of 2000 words, and regular attendance and participation in tutorials. |
