Subject Description | This subject examines the philosophical foundations of political liberalism, with some attention to critiques of political liberalism that have emerged in recent years. The work of the contemporary American philosopher John Rawls will be central to the subject. |
Assessment | A 2-hour examination, and an assignment of 2000 words, and regular attendance and participation in tutorials. |
